"He radiates the kind of fundamental decency that has a name in Yiddish; He's a mensch" (James Atlas).
Author James Atlas’s definition of mensch made it into the dictionary. But what does the Torah have to say about being a mensch? What does it mean to be a mensch in the modern, nuanced, and stressed-filled world?
The Temple Israel Brotherhood and the Community Kollel of Sharon invite you to find out. Please join us for an engaging three part series on what it means to truly be a mensch.
Using classical Jewish texts and a dynamic, interactive teaching style, Rabbi Yitzi Weiner of the Community Kollel of Sharon will lead the series discussions on real life ethical issues relating to work, friends, and family through the themes of speech, honesty, and compassion.
