Gila has been working at Temple Israel for eight years and Hertz Nursery School for four years.  She started her career journey as a Certified Nurse Assistant working with Alzheimer patients and their families. Gila also worked at a Temple in Brookline as their office manager and assistant to the Executive Director.  Between her work giving direct care and being the one to organize programming for others, Gila has found that her joy is strongest in the classroom. Gila has a special language with kids and encourages them to be themselves. She incorporates kindness, teamwork, positivity, social/emotional awareness, and love of Judaism into all her classes and programs. Gila, like all the Temple Israel teachers, is a team player and is focused on working with parents to make it an amazing year. Thank you for trusting us with your children.
