Memorial Plaques (Yahrzeit Plaques)
The names of our departed loved ones are honored in both the Weissman-Davis Sanctuary and the Weitzenkorn Family Chapel. These memorial plaques serve as lasting tributes, reminding us of those who once filled our sacred spaces and enriched our community. Memorial lights are illuminated on yahrzeits and on holidays when Yizkor is recited, ensuring their memories continue to shine.
Each year, new memorial plaques are dedicated on Shemini Atzeret, marking the conclusion of the High Holy Day season.
We are pleased to share that a new digital memorial board has been installed in the Weitzenkorn Family Chapel. This interactive screen automatically displays the names of loved ones whose yahrzeits fall in the current week or month, along with their Hebrew dates. Managed through secure, web-based software, the digital board offers a modern, space-saving, and accessible way to honor the deceased.
Our expanded yahrzeit options also include a digital memorial page for each plaque. Families may add biographical information, eulogies, and photos, creating a meaningful and enduring tribute that can be shared across generations.
