Hazak
“Hazak, Hazak, Venithazzek” This passage is said as the Torah Reader concludes the final words of each book of the Torah. There are many variations of the meaning of this phrase but the most meaningful one to me is “Let us be Strong, Let us be Strong, Let us strengthen one another”. By being strong and strengthening one another we develop a strong community to share in each other’s celebrations and to support each other when we need comforting or cheering up.
At Hazak we believe in the power of continued learning, engagement and friendship for all adults who join us. We value community and mutual respect as we share the joy of a Jewish life. We offer a diverse range of programs designed to stimulate the mind, nourish the spirit and foster meaningful connections. There is something for everyone in our community.
